Lalita Chhabra : Assistant Program Coordinator
Lalita joined NDS as Indian Sign Language student who went on to be an interpreter and has now taken over other roles in project coordination. Her capacities have been build in-house at NDS to shouldering responsibilities of the ID cards and Library. |

Bindeshwari is one the role models for the Deaf Community. She belongs to a small village in Uttrakhand with limited opportunities for Deaf. By educating herself she has proved that DEAF CAN DO. Her soft signing and disciplinarian nature are perfect combination for an ISL trainer. |

Identifying Aditi in NDS is not very difficult as she is usually the one with the camera. She is our in house techie who loves to fondle with computers. She is primary responsible for handling projects and ensuring their proper implementation. |

Sunita has come a long way from being a student at NDS to taking charge of the Primary Education students. Always willing to help others, she has quickly adapted to the responsibilities that have come her way as a teacher. Calm and composed, Preeti is responsible for program coordination and management at NDS. She also looks project implementation, monitoring and reporting to donors. She is also responsible for facilitating employment, employability training and fundraising. |

Himanshu, compassionate and kind, he is always reaching out to the Deaf students and guiding them. He has been with NDS for the past 5 years and is responsible for the MS Office Programme. He is also in charge of identifying Deaf candidates and training them in Life Skills for all employment opportunities. He keeps the Deaf students motivated and is always pushing them to perform better. |

Devender, our Keyboarding Skills Trainer is a self made man. He has a good knowledge of computers and he is the man to catch in case of any IT problem at NDS! He has learnt all these skills just by observing various technicians. Devender has also started assisting with banking transactions. |

Kitty Gupta : Program Coordinator and Interpreter
Kitty joined NDS as she wanted to learn Indian Sign Language. She picked up the language well and is now working as programme coordinator. She is also the in house interpretser. She will always be found surrounded by students and parents. She is the one with the big smile!! |

Vishal is a great success story. He joined NDS four years back with absolutely no education and no skills. He has a unique quality of observing others and learning from them. | All programs at NDS are conducted by Deaf Instructors in sign language through a visual medium such as projectors and computers. The Deaf Instructors also stand as a role model for the deaf students, aspiring them to reach out to newer and greater heights |
